Happy Happy Happy

I hope you find your Happy in your Day!  I was inspired by Cath's new challenge at Hip & Hooray Tuesday's Take 3 and the Runway Inspired Challenge #91 - Michael Kors.

I used the colors and geometric shapes in both challenges to inspire my card.  The circles are punched from a background created with the lattice stencil sponged with citron, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch.  I blended the colors together.  I punched and punched and punched again the circles to get the off center effect.

Then I had to dig through my sentiment stamps because I wanted to create an effect with words popped in black in different directions.

Here are the inspiration photos:

I like how it worked out!

Let's Party

Happy Tuesday!  The Less is More Week 239 Lucky Dip Challenge is to use Sprays or Mists.  I love using the mists and was thrilled to play with the mists.  This also celebrates the Simon Says STAMPtember Celebration that just kicked off today by using one of the new release dies.

I created a background with a sprinkling of mists (yellow and pink) sprinkled over the background.
I followed up with an ombre effect sponged on a die cut with yellow, coral and pink dye inks.  I stamped the coordinating Let's sentiment in pink ink.

Congratulations

I combined two challenges together for this card.  The Less is More - Congratulations and the CASE this sketch #136.

I love these cute animals from Mama Elephant and it worked for the challenge!  I sponged on the various bubbles using different sized circle stencils and Ranger Distress Ink - Stormy Weather and Ripe Persimmons.  I added highlights with a signo uni-ball white gel pen and a touch of Stampendous ultra-fine glitter (purple).

The sketch:

Have a lovely day!

Sing

I am playing along in the CASE this Sketch #136 with a CAS card featuring a lovely quote by Mr. Emerson.

I started with a Wendy Vecchi stencil and added a touch of the journal along the top with a lovely gold dye ink.  I then stamped the sentiment over the stenciling using a Ranger Archival Ink - Potting Soil.  I added the bird from Impression Obsession and colored him to coordinate.

The sketch:

Thanks for stopping by!

Doggone Happy!

The best laid plans and all that... I had planned to post something sooner but things have gotten in the way.  This is for my daughter who is going to a party and needed a cute birthday card.

A little misty background with a few sprays (Heidi Swapp Color Shine Salmon, Green, and Dylusions Yellow.  The image is Penny Black - Tutu & Cupcake.  I used my STAEDTLER watercolor pencils and Stampendous ultra-fine glitter to add details.  The balloons are from Simon Says Stamp.

Unforgettable Birhday

Good Morning! The elephants have been marching in!  I have seen so many different adorable elephants and couldn't resist the Mama Elephant Ella set.  I flipped the orientation of the
Case this sketch #132  sketch and used it with some Color Bursts to create a birthday card for my youngest.
