Puppy Love

A few quick cards made for friends and family:

I love this puppy he is adorble with the flowers and butterflies. I colored him with watercolor pencils and a touch of inky splatters.

I colored this girl awhile ago and just put her onto the paper and added a little glitter and splatters.

Toodles!

Fairy Sympathy Card - Part II

Part II of my fairy sympathy cards.
I stamped the sentiment (Verses Rubber Stamps - SY0521-E Embrace a Memory) in black archival ink.  I then stamped the ladybug fairy using the same ink to the side.

I colored the image with watercolor pencils and waterbrush.   I created a mask to cover my main image and stamped the flowers (Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz Wildflowers) using a mix of Antique Linen and Spun Sugar over top of the sentiment and the image.

I am entering this into the following Challenges:

Casology - Week #186 - Distress

Fairies Sympathy Card

I created a few sympathy cards using fairies as the theme.

The fairy was stamped in black archival ink and colored with watercolor pencils and a water brush.

The background is a Memory Box stencil sponged with Mustard Seed Ranger Distress Ink.  The edges were sponged with Salty Ocean Distress Ink.  The image is from Penny Black - Fairy Sweet and the sentiment is from Verses Rubber Stamps - SY0520-E - Gently Lovingly.  I added a hint of Crystal Stickles to the wings and fringe on the fairy.

Raining Hearts

I have a few hours left to squeeze in my valentine's card for the Case(e) this Sketch #157.  I just purchased this cute Mama Elephant set and have been wanting to create something with the adorable images.  With V-day rapidly approaching I used the set to create a card for the holiday.

Isn't that little animal the cutest in his raincoat and galoshes?  I had fun coloring the images with my watercolor pencils.  The background is a fun mix of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists splashed over the background.

I stamped part of a Stampendous stamp over the background in a mix of purple and black ink.  I then added a hint of purple with alcohol inks on the hearts before I added them to the background.  I finished with the Valentine's day sentiment.

Products: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists - Gold, Turquois Blue, Fully Purple,  Mama Elephant - Chance of Rain, Simon Says Stamp - Valentines, Stampendous - Definition Stamp, STAEDTLER - Karat Aquarell watercolor pencils

Happy Happy Happy

I hope you find your Happy in your Day!  I was inspired by Cath's new challenge at Hip & Hooray Tuesday's Take 3 and the Runway Inspired Challenge #91 - Michael Kors.

I used the colors and geometric shapes in both challenges to inspire my card.  The circles are punched from a background created with the lattice stencil sponged with citron, peacock feathers and blueprint sketch.  I blended the colors together.  I punched and punched and punched again the circles to get the off center effect.

Then I had to dig through my sentiment stamps because I wanted to create an effect with words popped in black in different directions.

Here are the inspiration photos:

I like how it worked out!

Let's Party

Happy Tuesday!  The Less is More Week 239 Lucky Dip Challenge is to use Sprays or Mists.  I love using the mists and was thrilled to play with the mists.  This also celebrates the Simon Says STAMPtember Celebration that just kicked off today by using one of the new release dies.

I created a background with a sprinkling of mists (yellow and pink) sprinkled over the background.
I followed up with an ombre effect sponged on a die cut with yellow, coral and pink dye inks.  I stamped the coordinating Let's sentiment in pink ink.

Congratulations

I combined two challenges together for this card.  The Less is More - Congratulations and the CASE this sketch #136.

I love these cute animals from Mama Elephant and it worked for the challenge!  I sponged on the various bubbles using different sized circle stencils and Ranger Distress Ink - Stormy Weather and Ripe Persimmons.  I added highlights with a signo uni-ball white gel pen and a touch of Stampendous ultra-fine glitter (purple).

The sketch:

Have a lovely day!
